There's something alluring about blue cocktails, they're exciting and almost exotic, definitely tropical. The Blue Hawaiian is the blue version of the popular
Pina Colada, splitting the coconut to allow room for blue curacao. There are two versions of this
tropical summer cocktail, this shaken or blended. For the
frozen one add the ingredients to a blender with 1 cup of cracked ice.
Ingredients:
- maraschino cherry for garnish
- pineapple wedge for garnish
Preparation:
- Pour the ingredients into a mixing glass with ice cubes.
- Stir well.
- Strain into a collins glass filled with ice cubes.
- Garnish with the cherry and pineapple.
